MJM Ceramics began in 2022 as a way for MJ to document her journey and growth as a ceramicist and maker. What started with a few commissions and local markets has now blossomed into a brand that offers one-of-a-kind and extra-small batch ceramics, where no two pieces are exactly alike.

Slowly made in her cozy home studio in Amsterdam centrum, each piece shows an evolution of her artistic style and the development of her practice.

Her artistic style is inspired by textures, waves, swirl lines and patterns combined with that special feeling of holding something handmade. Each piece is carefully crafted by her hands through her wheel-thrown practice and occasional hand-building using different sculpted shapes, carvings, and hand-painted designs. You might notice slight imperfections or color variations - little reminders of the care and craftsmanship that go into every item.

MJM Ceramics hopes you find your favourite pieces; the ones you instinctively reach for in your home or that you cherish and display with your favourite flowers in a corner of your house; the pieces that add a special something to make it feel more like your home.
