Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we ship worldwide! If you're item is in stock, your order will typically ship within 4 business days. Please contact me if the country you want to ship to is not included on the shipping list.
How much is shipping?

Within the EU:
- Netherlands: €6.95-15.75
- Rest of the EU: €12.95-19.95
International - Outside the EU:

All costs includes Track & Trace/Tracking Number
Please note that shipping costs do not include duties, taxes, or any other fees associated with importing products. The buyer is responsible for paying these additional charges.

When will my order ship?
If your items are in stock, we’ll process and ship them within 1-4 business days. Once your order is ready, it will be shipped via PostNL (within the Netherlands) or UPS/DHL for international orders. You will receive a tracking number as well.
Please note international delivery times of the items vary depending on your location.
If you need your item to arrive sooner, just send me an email through the contact page on the website or at hello@mjmceramics.store and I'll do my best to accommodate your request.
Can I pick up my order in Amsterdam?
Yes! Local pickup in Amsterdam is available for free. Simply select the pickup option at checkout. You'll get an email when your order is ready and we can arrange a suitable pick-up.
Can I pick up my order in Calgary, Canada?
Maybe! MJ sometimes visits her hometown of Calgary, Canada. If you'd like to pick up your order, just reach out via email (hello@mjmceramics.store)or Instagram DM with the piece you’re interested in and when you need it. I can see if it’s possible to bring it with me on my next trip to Canada.
What should I do if my shipment is delayed or goes missing?
While we do our best to ensure timely delivery, MJM Ceramics is not responsible for delays caused by customs or the shipping service. If your shipment is delayed or goes missing, please contact the shipping service directly. Unfortunately, we cannot be held accountable for late or lost shipments but we're always here to help if you have any concerns.
Are your ceramics food safe?
Yes, all of our ceramics are made with non-toxic, lead-free glazes and are completely food safe. They are perfect for serving food and beverages, whether you're enjoying a cozy tea time or a meal with friends.
Can I buy your ceramics in person?
I regularly update and sell ceramics online but occasionally I participate in local markets and pop-up shops in Amsterdam.

What is your return policy?
As each piece is handmade and unique, we generally do no accept returns or exchanges. However, if there is an issue with your order, please contact me within 7 days of receiving your item, and I'll do my best to resolve it.
What materials do you use?
Our ceramics are made from high-quality, commercially made clay, and finished with lead free and non-toxic glazes.
How should I care for my ceramic piece?
While most of our ceramics are dishwasher safe, we recommend handwashing to preserve their beauty and longevity. Avoid sudden temperature changes, as this can cause cracking. For pieces with unglazed areas, handle with care to prevent staining.

How much do custom orders cost?
The cost of custom orders varies depending on the complexity of the design, size, and materials required. After discussing your ideas, I will provide a quote for your specific request which will include a cost breakdown. Please feel free to reach out if you'd like to discuss a custom order!
How long does it take to receive a custom order?
Timing for custom orders can vary and will be discussed with MJ at the beginning stages. If you have any deadlines or urgent dates, be sure to let us know, and we’ll adjust pricing if needed. On average, a custom order can take up to 2 months, especially during the busy Christmas season. So, if you're planning for gifts, be sure to reach out early to ensure MJ can create something special for you!
